That's why bounce rate is not really a metric I consider on my landing pages. I prefer time on page, location, returning users etc

If the bounce rate gives you a reasonable length on time, that's fine. Followed by return visit that doesn't bounce.

On some sites and plenty of times, I get price request/ offers on domain that hardly do get any traffic.
That is the lotto side of domaining, some of your domains may get loads of visits, but little offers and may just sit there for ages. I have sold a few names that acctually had close to zero visits, and I was just waiting to drop them really.

That's the thing. User needs to go to another page for bounce rate to count. Without that, there's no way to differentiate between bot and human by just looking at the bounce rate.

I have sold names that had bounce rates of 100%. That gets you wondering how that happened. I have also sold names with zero traffic on GA on the day it sold on Dan. Analytics helps but I have come to rely less on it
