Well, actually I do. This is one of the few Dot.Me domain names that I have actually owned for more than an hour.

I also have www. Lean-On.Me and www. Me-Me.Me

And then in a fit of madness I just had to have:

For one brief moment in time I registered and paid for and had in my registry account the following:

www. Mr.Me
www. Best.Me
www. Run.Me
www. Now.Me

However, these premium domain names were snatched away from me as they should never been sold to just anybody. You see, they are reserved, contrary to all the publicity for those that can afford to pay the premium price and not just a registration fee.

It would have been easier to apply and be accepted for Astronaut Training with N.A.S.A than to get one of the premium domain names.

Needless to say, my registry registrations have been cancelled and the money taken is to be refunded.

So technically, I did Own.me for a short while and now I don't so I guess in the end www. You-Dont-Own.Me unless you are someone rather than no one.

This business stinks sometimes.

I had for four domain names valued at just under 50k...sob...sob...sob.

So they held back these names and jacked the price but since no one bought them, they'll release to the suckers general public?

So I ran a check 7h after the release, and out of 2787 released domains, 5 got registered:

3m by 3m Company
koch by Koch Industries
engineer and person by someone from AE
voli.me (= love me) by the local telecom

Now I wonder about two things:
1. will they lower the prices with time, when there will be little to no regs (like some of the ngTLD registries)
2. will the regged and dropped "premium" domains be available at a normal price, or at a premium rate again
