WOuld it be possible to make a mod for NP that would allow users to keep track of their monthly payments? Such as if there is a buyer/seller doing hosting/avertising for NP$ .This mod would allow NP$ to be deducted from the buyers account on a monthly basis or something . Just a though

I remember having the bank mod in phpbb and I though that was great. Where you could store your money and get intrest on it . But something to handle transactions and orders per member would be great

Recurring payments, kind of like PayPal offers? Sounds like a challenge to program, but I won't rule it out. One of my goals is to offer more flexibility for sellers to accept NP$ for payments.

This would create a few problems but wouldn't be hard to do. This would envole Cron_Jobs which could create some problems but I am sure the admins/mods can code it. It wouldn't really be that hard to code. The history would be a peice of cake. The monthly payments may be hard to do.

But I like where this is going.

you have got to figure out, what if the person quit Namepros and had no NP$ left.. how would the buyer get paid, or if the buyer had no money... you can't just add a - to someones np amount...

We can handle it the way it is done with real $. If the recurring payment can't be processed for some reason (member banned, NP$ frozen, or insufficient NP$), then both buyer and seller are informed via email and/or PM. The recurring payment will probably be halted at this point, with the buyer required to click something to get it restarted.

I agree that this is a nice idea and would add value to NP. :tu:
