I suspect marketplaces are designed to prevent sales.
Domainers list their domains hoping to sell them.
But what marketplaces do: track domainers,
know their weaknesses, and learn which hot domain
they would likely to drop soon. And they get leads from
registrars, and sit on them, until domains expire,
and dropcatch them, and they know their buyer's budget as well.
So instead of getting 10 percent of 1K, they get full amount of 10K,
100 fold difference.

Any evidence:
Dan domains don't resolve in a reasonable amount of time.
Is it just me, no because traffic is down significantly in all domains.

And Sedo hides landing pages by covering them with totally nonsense
cookie warning. It is extremely nonsense, because why not just
assume they chose minimal cookies (only required ones),
and inform buyers with a note which doesn't require verification.
It is obviously designed to track users and prevent sales.

There is more money in tracking people, entering their body and mind,
and homes, and cars with chips, cookies, and other conveniences
than doing real acceptable business.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
That is why I have all domains pointing to my site with buy now button links to Dan. I control the gateway.

I tried to reach one of my domains parked at DAN via ping and directly. Pinged a few minutes ago, still there is no data transfer. When I visit it directly, it tries to get data from Google.com FIRST before loading (for analytics reasons?). Dan analytics seems to be useless (it is only useful for me to realize that Dan landing pages don't really load, and it is not my ISP only which is the problem.). Dan homepage loads instantly but domains take forever to load. I DON'T WANT ANY GOOGLE SCRIPT on my Dan landing pages. Is this possible? @DAN.COM . We had a big web site with no javascripts and it did perfectly, and webalizer was tracking visits. Obviously no javascript is needed for visit tracking. If needed, it is needed for something else (data harvesting). Anyway, I prefer to avoid all external scripts which can theoretically do any bad thing possible.

.. The very thing the author is trying to tell, what's affecting your "real sales". You end up being the product,....
