The auction thread brought this topic to mind:

Do you think it's better to list an attractive low price for your domains or keep them as "make offer". SEDO maintains that domains with a price tag are much more likely to sell. But then you're giving up the hope of finding the perfect end user and selling for a high price. On the other hand, I've been led to believe that SEDO is mostly a reseller market anyway.

Some say never list a price but wait for the offer, unless you're short of cash and need to move the goods.

A friend of mine who is in the retail business says never keep your stocks full, always maintain a healthy turnover, and recommended I list my domains for a low price and use that $$ to buy better domains.

Thanks for your opinions.

As a Buyer (and occasional seller) on Sedo, I can tell you that I often pass over most of the "make offer" names. A name with a price, even if it is too high, is more likely to get my bid.

Just my opinion.

I've put a few bigs in at Sedo... If I see a nice name that I'm interested in, and it says 'Make Offer' I usally pass it up as I feel they will want more than I want to spend. If someone posts an asking price, that atleast gives the possibly buyer a price range. ;)
