I've been thinking about buying a new computer for a while now...and i'm really leaning towards buying a mac....which I can't believe myself for even saying...i never would have said this 10 years ago...{by the way, for those of you that haven't seen it already, this is one of the best anti-mac spoofs i've ever seen over at ifilms....but i'm sure the majority of you have seen this already.}

Anyhow, fast forward a decade later, and macs really look cool...i've used them at school...and they seem user friendly... and i do alot of webdesign and graphics stuff now a days which i heard a mac is good for.

Any opinions from the peanut gallery? I'm looking for opinions from pple that have owned both a pc and a mac....

I guess the only drawback of getting a mac is the price, PC's are so f^@(ing cheap..while i have to shel out a grand or 2 for a mac.

any thoughts?

Honestly that is the first time I ever heard of somebody upgrading a Mac lol. You know if you upgrade a mac you kill the warranty and most parts don't work 100%, right?

And with PCs when you upgrade it doesn't? Every manufacturer's PC I've seen if you open the case, you void their warranty. Also I can use the same hard drive and memory to upgrade both my PC or my Mac.

But with a PC you can build your own by buying a motherboard, processior, ram, case, power supply, (plus other stuff) all seprate then it it not voding the warranty to put it all togeather or upgrade.

Thats because when you build your own PC it never had a warranty in the first place. You're on your own when it comes to total PC support. You'll have to narrow it down to which part is bad and then contact the manufacturer of the part.
