Generic .com suitable for an online retailer looking to launch or rebrand a loyalty scheme, loyalty program consultants, credit card companies, or somebody wishing to set up a site similar to CreditCards.com but for loyalty cards.
Below is a list of historical card keyword .com sales. CreditCards.com is obviously in a different league but I think LoyaltyCard.com is commercially stronger and potentially more lucrative developed than MyPremierCard.com and VideoCards.com.
CreditCards.com $2,750,000 1/2/2000
MyPremierCard.com $135,000 1/11/2005
VideoCards.com $35,000 24/1/2007
XmasCards.com $19,450 10/1/07
GayCard.com $8,000 27/1/2005
GoodCard.com $4,500 1/9/2006
Customer loyalty programs have been mission critical components of retail marketing strategies since the mid 90s. In terms of commercial scale, 25% of people in the UK have a Boots Advantage card. I doubt many credit cards get anywhere near that sort of market penetration.
The grocery retailer Tesco has paid out $2bn to date on it's Clubcard which launched in 1995. It has been estimated that the Clubcard adds $200m to its sales per annum. Another interesting statistic I found is that it costs 6-7 times more to win a new customer than to retain an existing one.
I'm not pitching this to a domainer looking to park, so please assume no traffic. Registered at Godaddy until 9 Jun 2009. As a guide, I'm looking for low to mid $XX,XXX. Loyalty-Card.com will be included at no extra charge in any sale for defensive purposes.
