Lost two contacts on Profile??

I wanted to edit my public profile, to hide my friends list from users who are not logged in.

Anyway, so I went in to edit the friends list, and hid the avatars to test what it looked like when I logged out... but then when I clicked save, one friend went missing... then I went to see what happened, and clicked save-and once again, another one went missing.

Now, I have no clue who is off my friends list-two people...this is bad!!

How do I reverse it, or for the very least, how do I recover these contacts names so I add them again?

Hmm, I don't think we keep a log of deleted contacts. Ill alert paul to this thread to see if he might be able to look somewhere on the server for that data.

However, I'm not sure where the hide feature is you were looking for. All I'm seeing in the instructions at the bottom of a users profile is the following:

To remove a user from your contacts, un-check the box associated with their avatar and click the 'Save Changes' button.

To add a user to the list, enter their name into the empty text box and click either 'Contact' to add them to your list, or 'Friend' to also send a friendship request.

Note: When you unchecked "Show Avatar" you may have accidentally had an avatar unchecked when you clicked save, which would have removed it

Sent you a PM with a list of all the friends we had archived on the dev server a couple months ago from your profile. sort through those to see if you can find them

I was hoping that choosing not to show avatars would block people who are not logged in from seeing it on my profile-but I was wrong.

I may have clicked on the screen while scrolling-by mistake...

I need to go through the list, and re-add those members who are gone.
