I thought I'd upload an avatar, and decided on one I liked.

I went to my Profile and clicked on Avatar.

Hover over 'Choose File' and it shows Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF

Then this comes up....GIF images are not supported; please use a different image format. :xf.rolleyes:

I see some members having Gif in their Profile pics

There was some that were grandfather in for a while (stayed up as long as you didnt update it). I can think of one member that had a spinning one. It has since stop spinning.

They can be a visual nightmare, which is probably the reason they are gone.

Yes a few still stand out in my mind..
The member with the "bug" moving across it the screen

The one with the "finger" tapping the screen..
