i was just wondering
why is it in most of you member have long long bars of

and i only have 1 of them in my miniprofile

and why i have only 1 dull booooooooooring start and others have shining rotating


how can i make my star rotating and how can i increase the

edit : oh its the first time i try to post a picture here on these boards and i discovered images r disabled

For approximately 1888.80 NP$, I can give you lots of rep and a rotating star...
just kidding

You gain reputation points by others praising you for good posts or other helpful actions. In your top post, near the bottom left, you will see a small grey scale. To give someone +Rep, just click on their scale. You get a rotating star after 2 years, I believe.

The dull star is (I think) like 6 months, gold star is 1 year, and the spinning gold star is 2 years of being a member here.

You've been here for almost a year and have no (less than 100) rep points. :o

Sometimes people forget about Reputation Points. As far as I know it is just the bars on your profile, but I could be wrong has been know to happen a time or two :hehe:

Actually Rep Points can be very useful in deciding whether to give credence to what a person posts or whther to enter into a business dealing with them.. it's not easy accumulate alot of Rep for no good reason

A 10% discount is given in the Store to members who's been here for atleast 1 year.

GREY Reputation blocks - NEUTRAL ~(the member does not have enough rep power to give you positive or negative)
GREEP Reputation blocks - POSTIVE

The more rep you have the more points you can give and the more points people have the higher their rep.

The actual rep calculations i have no idea of.

You don't get a discount on domains, you only get the 10% discount in the NP Store.
