I really would like to go to this, but Saturday is my sisters birthday party. Bonfire at Dockwieler. I don't know if I spelled it right, but you know. That beach in El Segundo.

Well we just did the bonfire 2 weeks ago for my other sisters birthday. We were there at 2, left around 10:15 pm. I have 5 sisters by the way, and 6 is on the way.

I will definitely see what I can do, because I would like to meet some fellow NP'ers.

It looks like Justin (domainspade) is actually going to be in San Diego that weekend according to ^^ his post ^^. Why not see if you can find some time to meet for a meal or drink or something.

I'd suggest the Pacific Surfliner train, but that's like $60 roundtrip. It's a nice ride though...they serve booze

First meeting is complete!

Well, I just got back from our first meeting and I have to say it's nice to see real smiles vs. and hear real laughs vs. .

There were three of us this time around as Cyberian, peaches017, and lpstong couldn't make it. The three of us who did make it were me, hawkeye, and sirengirl. We had a nice meal and a good chat about NP (of course), domains, .mobi, developments, and sales among tangent personal topics.

I had a heck of a time and definately look forward to our next meeting. Maybe you'll join us?

We propose the next meeting to be in Santa Moncia when Ian and RJ are in town on 3/26 (Monday) PM, or that previous Saturday elsewhere if they are unavailable.

Let's think of some venues for both scenarios.

Yes the meeting went well, and it was nice to see and chat with local fellow NPers. Though it was a small initial gathering, it was a start, and we all agreed that as more start showing up, we could have a very good local support thing going. As Tim noted, we are looking forward to touching base with RJ and Badger when they are in Santa Monica, and hope a few more will be there too. LA (always the trendsetter city ) was the first to have a group meeting, and we hope others will start up in other cities soon too! Thanks Tim for spearheading this meeting up!

Who's up for a quick meeting on 3/26?

Short notice I know, but who is up for a quick meeting with RJ and Ian (Badger) on Monday, 3/26 in Santa Monica or thereabouts?

We are still talking to see if we can make the logistics work, but it would be nice to meet some more members! We are looking at the mid afternoon around 1-3 pm or close to that.

It should be a great get together!
