Hey all,

In order to keep it simple and close by to where RJ and Ian will be earlier in the day, we'll meet at the 3rd Street Promenade which is relatively close by to thier first meeting. There is a Yankee Doodles there.

Here is a parking guide. The structre on Arizona and 2nd is the easiest to get in and out of. We'll meet at Yankee Doodles at 2 pm. It is a bar and poolhall. It has cafe seating outside too. Anyone lucky enough to be under 21?

Please RSVP and let me know if you will be able to attend.

3/26 meeting summary...

Well our second meeting was even more successful and more fun than the last! Thanks for the SWAG too, RJ!

Attendees were Badger (Ian) +1, Cyberian (Kenny), Hawkeye (Kevin), RJ, and me (Tim). We met up at Yankee Doodles, ate, drank, talked shop and played a little pool.

We all learned a little bit more about what we are all doing here and there and some personal info too. It is a great way to add to the NP community experience. Next time, try to attend. We've got good people on this board. You'll have fun, guaranteed!

Once we start having regular meetings and get past the initial meet and greet phase, we might consider actually conducting some business at these meetings - who knows! Until that time, I'm personally happy just to get together, talk shop, and throw back some beverages.

The next meeting will probably be mid to late April. Subscribe to this thread and check back before then. Try to make the next one! PM me if you have questions or suggestions. I'd love to hear them.

Yes it was a nice meeting or gathering. Nice to see/meet Badger, RJ, Cyberian, and of course Tim again. Very enjoyable time. Hope more can make it next time!

Hey, I'm 2 hours out of LA, and San Diego, and one from Palm Springs... if you ever wanted to do a SoCal NP meet. I live in Idyllwild, in the mountains above Palm Springs... we got great wilderness hiking trails... if the group hike thing sounds good... and I can put-up a small army --for those not wanting to drive down the mountain at night.

I love Idyllwild, although I havent seen it in 15-20 years it was a beautiful, harmonic slice of earth as I remember it.
There is a magic that runs through that entire area, some nice swimming holes, hot springs, old hippies :red and general wellness.
Thanks for the offer, if you and Tim can work something out for later(giving everyone enough notice), count me in.

What: A meet up to discuss the issues in the analog world that we normally discuss at DP. Last month we talked about myspace traffic, various shades of white hat SEO, quality content, traditional advertising like getting on the radio for free, arbitrage, and many other things.
Who: Any and all DP'ers that want to get together to talk shop.

Where do you live?

Find out if there are others in your local area. And make it a point to meet with them. That is the whole point of starting up such threads. Find out who is in your local area. I cant always make it to the roundtables etc either because of distance and or short on the money.
