I think the positives lie in the fact that Hong Kong is a major world financial hub an influential center of commerce. So I do think if you want your services or products associated with the local economy it probably makes sense to establish a HK presence.

Plus others - fairly positive I would say.

Probably the richest area in the world , HK

Ooooh I think there is a lot of potential with HK. But what confuses me are the subdomain choices:

.com.hk .net.hk
.org.hk .edu.hk
.gov.hk .idv.hk

that are available in addition to just .hk

I guess I like it simple like they do in the US with no subdomains.

Unless you have a HK presence the only ones you can buy are .hk without additional documentation- makes the choice easy eh :?
