Ok, let me think. This will be basically be an adsense travel mini-site like Athens Greece Vacation, Tour, Hotel & Restaurant Guide or Trinidad & Tobago Vacation, Tour, Hotel & Restaurant Guide. Maybe something rustic looking. Something representaive of venice or italy. Like the Olive Garden.

Wasn't sure what to use for the font; I like to see a page first. But I did what I thought I could make a page from.

The file is a vector graphic, so you can easily manipulate font, color scheme, and size. Knowing that, I wasn't really that concerned with picking out just the right one yet.

Axel,I like this the best so far. I'll be using the bluelight worpress theme at themeforest.net. Either the blue or green background. Although I'm leaning towards the green as more representative of venice.

I was trying to use the blue gradient to remove the division between the water and sky. I will try to add in a green background, if you show me what shade of green. I can also just make the gradients and shading green. It's ultimately up to you.

Ah, an olive green. Would you like an olive branch or something around the logo I currently have picked out? I'll edit in a moment with a few new renders.

This is what it would look like on the green. I'll probably need to recolor the main bubble, so give me a minute to do that.

Keep in mind, though, that the background will be transparent, so the gradation on the background will remain in view behind it. There won't be a solid rectangle that stands out.
