Logo design 10$ prize!
so my request for the logo will pay $10 to the winner!
RULES:
1. You must create the designs yourself. No templates. You must not use any images you do not have the right to use.
2. Only the winner agrees to transfer me rights to that design. I will not use any of the other designs and feel free to remove them from this thread once the contest is over.
3. You are free to put in watermarks to protect your work
4. By accepting the winnings, you agree to give me full rights to your design and you agree that you will not use this design for anything else.

my business is called L*i*b*e*r*t*y **A*s*s*u*r*a*n*c*e (without the stars)
I am based in Canada and primarily sell life insurance but also sell investments.
I am looking for a logo for my business that I can use for my business card and possibly use it for my letterhead, website later on so it should be high quality.

I am selling products (life insurance to younger people but am also selling investments to older people) so it has to look PROFESSIONAL, TRUST WORTHY, and cater to younger families and older ones at the same time! I know tricky!

I do like the idea of colums or one single colum but this is not a must I welcome some fresh ideas! keep in mind it's Canadian (so no statue of liberty) or too American looking symbols please.

I do like the colours (also not a must) baby blue, green but am thinking green would look better especially if it's just the A*s*s*u*r*a*n*c*e part.

If you have a problem with a thread in future please report it, there is however nothing wrong with this contest other than it doesn't follow the guide here NamePros.com - Announcements in Forum : Design Contests so to the OP please edit your contest accordingly including your title.

In answer to your questions ookie, no, pm entries are not allowed but he is not asking for pm entries, he just says to pm if you have questions (unless i missed it)

2: as i've said in contests many times before its entirely up to the OP what they offer as a prize if you think the prize is too low then nobody is forcing you to enter

well where do I start, this logo contest yes is only for 10$ but as I am just starting out looking for a logo I can tell you something I will be needing some web site hosting, web design and probably a lot more work. I can definitely tell you this is an opportunity for someone and not just a 10$ dollar prize.

like the font, like the green in the upper A, I like the colum but not sure about combining symbol and lettering would rather see the lettering beside or over the colum (keep in mind it's going on a business card)

I love the lettering if you could try incorporating a colum somewhere (attached) and make Liberty the grey or black lettering with Assurance being green

the colum doesn't have to be exactly as shown just the concept or simalar image

not a fan of the bird (one of the other institutions have a similar symbol), also not a fan of that font (I think it lacks the professionalism) like the colour scheme

that's the general idea (the second one) I just want it to have some clean professional looking letters and a clean drawing incorporating the colum and the lettering. kind of marrying the colum and the letters together.
