I don't think that "the phrase makes reat sense" I think that a name like localshops make more sense then localshopping...

i disagree. he is askig about name by itself. tell you true, before go shopping in my local city i would love to know whats on sale and where and may be obtain some coupons. as well as if i am going to travel to differet city, not to waste much time for shopping would be nice to have some info about good deals in that particular local city. what im am tryig to say is this domain has huge potetial and for person who will add some time in it to develope will bring lots of interest and traffic. so just for the name i think high xxx would be ok to ask.

I disagree, I think with a little bit of creativity you can make this one work somehow, but I do agree with the above statement about having to do some SEO to get some rank, known, traffic, etc. LocalShopping.info sounds better to me than LocalShops.info just because no one really uses the word shops as much... but develop it and try to make some revenue out of it... the name by itself might not make money, but traffic might.
