Hi,
I have a few SEO queries worring me for quite a long time now, i hope they will be cleared over here
# QUERY A
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have done url re-writing for my websites. For SEO friendly urls i have convert my dynamic url's, into one's which looks something like below
http://www. xyz.com/ business_news/blue-blends-india-reports-net-loss-of-rs-2-35-crore-in-the-june-2007-quarter-16418.html
I have used the content title and content id in my url and attached ".html" at the end of it so the crawler considers it to be a static page.
Is this sort of URL rewriting considered to be negative(bad trick), will i be penalized by Google for it.
Does it really help me achieve good search engine traffic ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# QUERY B
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have affiliated with one of the website and the content for it is been served in <iframes> as well as raw text data.
Now i have used <iframe> solution on my homepage as it always keeps my site updated, while i have generated static HTML pages inside a folder and the link for it is been provided to the inner static section from the homepage.
I have matched the homepage link color to it's background as i don't really want users to show any outdated content.
The pages inside have not yet been crawled by Google, the bot has visited for quite a few times now but nothing is getting indexed.
It's been over a month now, I have tried submitting Google Sitemaps but no success as yet.
Can anyone guide me on where i am going wrong using the above given tricks on a website which is quite content rich having about 13K news articles and still not getting indexed, can anyone please help me out of this hole.
Have a nice day you all.
Regards,
Nilesh
