Long time ago i started similar thread, but its too old and already closed.

Though it would be nice to have thread to discuss about LLLL.net.

To start:

What i like about LLLL.net is there is no pressure about them like LLLL.com ... if you sell one for 100$ its great ...if you sell for 1000$ its better :tu:
there is no discussion about min. price for LLLL.net as you still get them for reg fee :) ...and best cvcv.net / premium names get sold for 1k-2k ... some even more.

Your thoughts ?

(P.M. Disclaimer: I'm owner of some LLLL.net, so i may be interested in positive posts about LLLL.net, but i still try to be objective and not make hype)

I can open your old thread and merge it with this one if you'd like -- just let me know. It'll be nice to have a discussion thread for LLLL.net as well :)

quality LLLL.net are quite attractive for endusers imho therefore will be in demand.

do not know about lower quality ones, it will depend on LLLL.com pricing. If LLLL.com will rise in January, we will see more resellers demand for LLLL.net in march-april imho.

I agree with zoki. I actually own zero LLLL.com's these days. The best one I had owned was a CVCV.com and I ended up selling it for a decent profit cause I was in quick need of cash at one time. I own zero LLLL.com's these days for that exact reason. I have started investing almost all of my money in quad premium and CVCV.net domains. These may not be worth much more than reg fee if you can't find an end user but they hold allot of potential. A good investment from my perspective.

yes and no, i agree only on reseller pricing.

omdc.net -> Registrant: Otay Mesa Data Center (.com taken by other Corp.)

morc.net -> Registrant: Macomb Oakland Regional Center (.com is for sale at Buydomains -> $27,400.00)

icsc.net -> Registrant:Immanuel Church of Southern California (.com taken by Consulting Company)

From MORC.COM/NET we can see you are right, if .com is high then .net go high too.
But other point is if .COM is Developed / taken by company, so there is no/little chance they will sell it, can lead to high .NET sale.

Well ive been stocking up LLLL.nets myself..

They are relatively cheaper than LLLL.coms esp the CVCV VCVC VVVV
Nowadays i only buy better quality LLLL.coms than crappy LLLL.coms full of ZQX letters
Rather pay more for one good LLLL.com than keep a bunch of crappy LLLL.coms

I think I'm one of the biggest LLLL.net quad premium holders ~1000. I had 7 end-user sales for the last 12 months, most of them were though just in mid $xxx range. However I was not actively searching for end-users. I think BuyDomains is the biggest LLLL.net investor and they successfully sell them to end-users too. They have a lot of $xxxx sales and only god knows how many $xxx sales because they are not reported :)

I'm a large LLLL.net holder myself.
I had over 500 of those being 200+ quad premiums and 80+ triple letters, quad vowels and other collectibles.
I've been trimming my portfolio a bit and sold around 230 names (80 quads + 150 other names) and invested in 4 LLL.nets.

Major reason? Renewal fees, still I've kept the best LLLL's for myself and I have no intention of selling more than 20-30 names over the next year.

now biid.net is in my account (tdnam) ;) ... i love symmetry of this domain
google returns only results of some mental disease, but i see there some development of bi-id or bio-id
Any thoughts ?
