Hi,
In LLLL.net COUNTDOWN there are too much discussions about should one buy LLLL.net or not.
I think thats a wrong place, because it should only be an countdown, giving us a real stats about that.

I will start to comment some of given statements:

Take a look at this Trend which compare Google Search Volume for .com & .net

No .NET will not get greater than .COM but comparing to ORG & DE that are different worlds.

But then yestarday "scanning" EBAY I noticed that Yofie (James) has sold a CVCV.net for $169.......(buy now price).
That made me think.
And now I`m perplexed.

Sorry, but whats there to bee perplexed, i still wonder about how some people looks at this biz. 169$ are peanuts, thats less than what i spent when having nice weekend

I`m still perplexed. I see many crappy .com selling but very rarely I see any .net selling.

Two reasons on that, .NET will not reach .COM, and i think you are not looking at .NET. If i'm not interessted in cars than i will never see Ferrari on street, because its just 'one more' car, but if you are interested then you will see him.

I think if you get a LLLL with 3 of the same letters in it now for reg fee.. you'll make a profit in the next 12 months...

That is for something like FFQF.net or QQlQ.net but if you can get something like FFFQ.net or QQQI you will make more then a profit.. you will make 3-5 times your money back in 12 months from now...

But if you can get a 3 letter word in your domain you will make 5-10x your money back.. but im talking 1-2 years...

If not I'll eat my words...

You can probably make a profit now! Sold LLLL.net for mid xx and was offered high xx for another. Two good LLLL.nets, but I wasnt going to do anything with them. The second is still in my possession and I may just accept the high xx offer.
