The owners of large portfolios did not have the money for renewals of a large number of domains. It's world financial crisis.

I've done that a few times myself -- bought a domain for a particular project then decided I didn't want to follow through or didn't have time for it.

no, thats not the reson, i droped 100 premium domains, because i waited for the last day and missed to renew them. because when we do bulk register lots of domains, we have to remember one day we need to renew them. i didint noticed that part and lost my investment. but still i love LLLL.net domains and registering few domains every day
