Looking for ideas on what to do with: LLLL.com. Limit of spare time for now. I'll be working on a blog for the site soon.

thanks for the kind words Josh - looking forward to having more time to be creative with my own LXIQ.com one of these days. Props due to XKCD though, got to love this from their "About" section ->
What does XKCD stand for?

It's not actually an acronym. It's just a word with no phonetic pronunciation. It stands for the comic and everything the comic stands for!
So let that be an inspiration for all non-premium un-pronounceable LLLL.com, more than a few of which have passed through my hands these last few months ... (noting that XKCD.com has been regged since 2003 though.)

well - back on topic - would be cool to see many many more examples of developed LLLL.com sites ... on the mother of all LLLL.com, LLLL.com

Literalists Love Listing Letters ...!

oh yeah - didn't we also have a "come up with an acronym for my random LLLL" thread going at one point ...? Another nice "community participation" sticky feature possible along those lines.

LLLL.com... wow I'm truly impressed :) It's like THE domainer's domain

You can start a 1 LLLL.com per day auction or buy-it-now offer. Something like Woot or Bido.

congrats Philip!!!

one of the best name in LLLL niche, i would say it is so good as some words due to its known meaning
when developed i am sure it will be another great source for all of us who are LLLL.com investors

:gn: :kickass:

Agree 100% Bricio -- it is a "word" to domainers and a very good one at that :)

We already have some good LLLL resources, maybe you should contact and try to cooperate with the owners of these?

I have a few people that I am communicating with. I don't want to go it alone.

How about an LLLL.com showcase? That would be too pat I know, but would be great.

If you're looking for 5k+ names only, this might be kind of too focused.

Great name though, congrats.

Agreed, I was talking about people with $5K+ budgets not the domains. I am hoping to work with a small community of LLLL.com buyers with a lot of buying power behind them. I want to focus on services for domainers/investors, not building a personal collection.

Congratulations on the purchase Vurg! If im honest I am a little envious! :xf.love:

It really is the domain to end all domains when it comes to 'our' niche!

:gn:

Best of luck with whatever plans you have for it :)

Congrats!

You picked an excellent thread and imho the greatest section (warning: Reece is a very biased moderator) to post in :)

Stick around and read about how many members here are making thousands each month buying, selling, and trading short domains! :hearts:

Just think... Every time one of us says "LLLL.com" we are promoting your website! :)

Congratulations on the fantastic purchase.

It would be funny if you posted "LLLL.com for sale", people would be like "...and which LLLL.com would that be?" If you know what I mean. :D

I wonder if any added SEO power to subdomains such as premium.LLLL.com / pronounceable.LLLL.com etc ...

Very nice!

As wishful as my thinking is, I'd love to have a giant database of every LLLL .com and describes what it's used for and who owns it, if possible. Along with, of course, price guides and links to resources.

That is kind of what I was thinking. I think it is PHP that you can use to build a very large number of pages automatically. Then you could feed in English and foreign four letter dictionary words with definitions, Google and other rankings, sales records and anything else that could give useful information. Then let the owners and others add information (if you can find a way to prevent spam) and a link if it is a developed site.

A heck of a purchase, and it is in great hands. Congratulations.
