Looking for ideas on what to do with: LLLL.com. Limit of spare time for now. I'll be working on a blog for the site soon.

I was thinking about this domain couple of days ago :)

Develop it right and I'm sure all LLLL.com's buyers/sellers/holders will support you.

Excellent pickup Philip :tu:

I don't want to go into any detail about values as I believe that it wont do me any favours. I will just say that I couldn't afford it last year when I approached the seller but my financial situation improved this year and I was able to raise the money that the seller wanted this month. I have sold many domains to cover the costs and intend to sell more to get funds to develop it.

you now have a starting point to become the center point around which all LLLL universe would rotate :)
Congrats!

We already have some good LLLL resources, maybe you should contact and try to cooperate with the owners of these?

Great name VURG, indeed.

If I owned it, I would make a huge LLLL.com portal which would be consisted of several parts -- a "LLLL.com's knowledge base", recent sales base, a marketplace... Basically it would be a starting site for everyone who wants to deal with LLLL.com's.

This name has definitely got potential, if treated (developed) the right way. Good luck ;)

Totally agree! That's exactly what I'd do with it as well :)

How about an LLLL.com showcase? That would be too pat I know, but would be great.

If you're looking for 5k+ names only, this might be kind of too focused.

Great name though, congrats.

wow ... congratulations!

Hard to go wrong holding this one - added revenue from development is nice, and certainly could add up ... But return on investment should take care of itself just from appreciating value of an extremely rare (1 out of only 26) and significantly meaningful "collector's prize" domain. So can relax a bit, and make it a labor of love (to the extent that your available time and resources permit).

The obvious idea for a portal (with links to crucial resources such as TDVR.com) makes good sense .... May be easy enough to keep news and fresh content via weblog software (and provide a bit of a "community watering hole" for messages in a comment section) ...

well, seems like a good chance you'll get at least a few great ideas going in less obvious directions too .... (a user-contributed directory of developed "end user" LLLL.com sites comes to mind. Was reminded about the interest in this kind of info just the other day when I stumbled across XKCD.com ...)

Good stuff ... Great to see how things continue to develop in this still-young market. :)
