Hey,
I have tried to enter into live chat and i get this error message every time i do.

Possible reasons include:

- The chat server system at www.namepros.com is temporarily unavailable.

- Your computer is behind a firewall or proxy server. Please ensure that your firewall permits outgoing TCP connections to www.namepros.com on port 8080.

Can anyone figure out why is this happening?

Has it ever worked for you?

Might try upgrading the java on your browser at www.java.com

Do you use a office network or do you have a router or firewall?
What happens when you connect to other java chat applets like yahoo?

Ans 1)No i dont use a office network.
Ans 2)No i dont use a router. have also tried by turning of my firewall.but it doesnt work.
Ans 3)I regularly play games on yahoo.did not face a problem.

Rj: i have the latest java software installed.

Still cant figure out.why it's not working.

i was there a few days ago but now i can't enter it gives me the same error.

i use cable as well as wifi alternatively.but neither of them work.

Lets first see if the problem is in your internet connection or computer.

Do you perhaps have a laptop (or another computer) witch you then connect to the
internet connection you use now.

hmm...not sure if the prob is with the connection .but i do play games at yahoo using java.
