If you use LinkedIn make sure you go to your "Custom URL" settings and pick a good keyword. I snatched up a money related keyword with 40k monthly searches,and I was pretty surprised.
They have locks on keywords like "business" and "marketing", and a lot of popular keywords are taken but it looks like there are many keywords still ripe for the taking.
