".LINK is no worse than .XYZ".....like the .com loyalists despising the .xyz insurgence, the .xyz loyalists despise the .link insurgence.

While most of the really good "single word" .link domains have been registered still a few remain. For example, the day after Thanksgiving I was able to register Thankfulness.link that happens to be no worse than Thankfulness.xyz or Thankfulness.com.

In the way of an update.....domains under management aka DUM has grown from 200,000 to 221,000 since May, and 1,500 of those I've registered. In addition, i have it from some reliable sources that "Good News is Coming"

I am really only interested in pursuing projects or pursuits which I have a passion for. Otherwise, I find it to be too much of a grind which leads to a lack of motivation.

Still, at some point you have to take that first step. @ThatNameGuy has been talking about partners and development and projects for years now. You have to do something at some point to make it happen.

Absolutely, you have to want to do it. I find it's the main differentiator between me and other people that I meet. I want to build things and other people just want to talk endlessly about their "ideas"...

On this point... having a partner is an awful idea as a business plan. I can't think of anything worse . Perhaps that's just my perspective as I'm not a sociable creature, but if you have a vision you should execute on it yourself... too many cooks spoil the broth. Your vision, your decisions, your control.

Indeed. Why give up your control just to save some money on development and data entry?

If I hadn't had several successful partnerships I might buy into your bull, but here are two companies that I started with partners in the 80's and 90's that are still in business today; AcSel.org and CreditControl.net

Glad you're following this thread.....of the 1,500 domains I own approximately 500 of them are one word and the other thousand are two words like JustRight and FirstClass or FullHouse

Well, nit-picking aside, however many thousand you spent on .link names could have been spent on some technical help.

I do remember those ideas! I also remembered how they stayed as ideas when you didn't find a partner, which is why I was curious.
