Do you like casinos?

I try to go whenever I can.. usually to Downstream Casino (near Joplin, Missouri) or over in Oklahoma.. probably a dozen or more casinos less than an hour from me.

Love playing the slots and have yet to try a table game. My favorite slot is Royal Reels. It's multi-denominational and I'll play anywhere from 50 cents to $5 a spin.

Most I've ever been up is $675 in one night.. it's not the money so much.. I just like playing!

I like casinos well enough, but I can never justify my losses when I could've invested that same money on domains - with a much higher chance of profit. If I lose $100 gambling, the next day I'll be thinking about the hundreds+ I could've made flipping $100 worth of hand regs.

I guess I just prefer to use my skills to make money rather than leave it to blind luck... crazy thought I know!

I used to work in Las Vegas for a company that designed high-tech slot machines and promo stuff called bonusing. Was a very interesting business but very stressful. Talk about "time is money"! You haven't lived until a casino VP calls you at 3 a.m. screaming that no data is coming in from the player tracking system, or how he's had to shut a bank of slots down and is losing $xxx per minute.

I watched a guy win the jackpot on three slot machines one after the other. After getting the third jackpot a fairly large smartly dressed man came over and had a word and both of them walked off somewhere together, oddly enough he did not return to the casino.

When I was last at a casino I prefered the 1 cent slots, especially as you regularly get offered free drinks. I have heard that the penny slots can often be the big earners for the casinos.

My Girlfriend made around $30 on the 1 cent slots, which wasn't bad, the most being $18 from one machine. Nothing massive, but we had fun playing

So if 25 line machine, it is 25 cents a pop to play all 25 lines.

Big fan of the Casinos. I do hate those video slot machines, I can't tell wtf is happening. They say 1 cent, but then it's $5 a pull, what does 4 cherries, a house in the woods, a King and 2 wolves mean?

I did hit a big jackpot once. It can happen. I recommend 3 reels max triple diamond or red white and blue 7's.

WAY better odds than scratch off lottery tickets.

There is something decadent, and it is damn delicious, to have a big thick slab of rare prime rib covered in two eggs (sunny side up only for me) and bacon!

Casinos are like anything else in entertainment, you pay to enjoy the experience.

How much you pay, well thats what you have control over.
Set limits on lose, AND win. Know when to get out ahead.
How many times have you heard a story like, "I was up 3 grand, but I gave it all back".
Man, if you are up 3 grand, and an average money player, go tell a pit boss and just get your comp meal, your show tickets, whatever, and GTFO of that place NOW!!!!

Winning in the long run requires lots of work.
Just go have fun, and chock it up to enterainment expenses.
