Hehe, the ex-gf and I went over to the casino this afternoon. Arrived about noon. My first $5 bill I built up to $50. Subsequently I got one hit for $125 on $1.25 for 5 shields on a Royal Reels. I cashed out over $150 three separate times on a Lucky Leprechaun 25 cent machine playing 50 cents a spin. I cashed out again for $80 on another Lucky Leprechaun, then just before we left I put a $20 in a $1 Lucky Leprechaun and played $2 at a time until I got down to $4 and the ex-GF walked up ready to go.. I hit the spin button again meaning to play for $2 but hit for $1 instead and got a $70 spin! If I had hit the $2, it would have paid $140!

We were there almost 6 hours.. I went in with $20 and came out with $450! Not a bad day!!

(Afterward we stopped at the buffet at Ryan's and pigged out.. she made me pay of course! She broke even for the day!)

I think I tend to be fairly lucky overall.. I think alot of it has to do with positive thinking and attitude, believe it or not. If I'm not going in feeling up and positive, I generally don't seem to do that well.

I never take or bet more than I can afford to.. I usually bring a bank of between $40 to $100 (usually $40-50). If you don't hit in $40 worth of small-time play, chances are you won't hit that night.

I usually play $5 at a time on a 5 line dime machine for 50 cents a spin.. as I do better (increase my bank), I may increase the size of my bets.. sometimes to $5 a bet tho $1.25 or $2.50 a bet is more typical. I only play slots.

I have always had fun playing in las vegas....I think the worst i ever came back was like... $200 down...Most every time i break even....Every once in a while i win some money...But it's alot of enjoyment for a small price,Just good fun..and if you win...that makes it sweeter... A dollar and dream are what keep alot people sane-lol...me being one of them....But without a dream...we are left with little....Congrats on the great day dave :tu:
