Let's write content for each other...?

I am getting to grips with the idea of writing a site in a few minutes, using wordpress/joomla to separate content from structure. The main time consumption seems to be decent content, but hell, type the word in google and research it.

It would be even quicker if we could stick to areas that we knew about and could get others to write some decent content as it were an area that they were actually interested in! The payback would be to agree to write something for the other person and agree for that content to be used on their site.

Yes, this is a very unformed idea with lots of potential problems but they might be amenable to solutions. This is a way to get really original and good content on all of our sites and monetise and increase the value more effectively.

I think the first step would be to critique this idea (if I was reading this, my first suggestion would be - why not just buy names that you can actually write about! I understand this but I would have had to pass on some really good names that I know could be developed, so I am offering this alternative idea...) and I am sure that you will all be very forthcoming! If people are interested, then I think we need to agree what constituted a site and what made a page. It could help all of us?
