Is that how long they take? I am watching one right now which has technically expired but not dropped and been made re-available.
It's a ripper so I suspect it will be premium but I am sick to death of snoozing the alert each day to re-check.
....40 days far out.
I was going to email www.tv about it and ask them to reg in my name but I thought that would just encourage them to make it "premium" when it drops and I am more than concious of the old lcd.tv story.
I am also looking for a name which should be back after... 56 days but still in its redemption period, there is something I am missing too as I though the release was max 45 days. As for the name you wish to reg do not contact the .tv Corp I did it once for a and I got a proposal which was far beyond my understanding. I would also advise you to check the availability only once a day not more.
Best wishes.
I followed a couple of .tv expirations and the process seemed very similar to other extension drops. Once the domain expires it goes into redemption period for 30 days. After that is goes into pending delete. Seven days later it is available. That's the way the .tv I was following worked. Don't know if something has changed.
