rokoroko, I am not sure this is a very standard term. Most HDTVs sold today, in the US at least, are HDTV, not just HDTV-ready, and I have not seen that term used before.

I could be wrong or have missed something however or it might be used in other countries.

Full HD 1920 x 1080

HD Ready 1024 x 768 (minimal 768)

This is better quality and the first generation of plasma and LCD is just 800 x 480
it is uncomparable worst than Full or Ready.

and the differ is in price too

so Full hdtv becomes with the best quality and it is most expensive
