Latest Panda Update - Does It Hurt Your Rankings?

I know everyone's frustrated when it comes to the Big G's latest Panda update. One of my niche sites got dropped a little bit due to the latest update. Anyone here who also experienced dropped rankings on your respective sites? Does it hurt?

Because panda is there, you have to be more careful on your content it must be quality and no duplicate., there has been penguin which aims to limit web spam across search engine results.

only websites that have some kind of black hat tricks involved have slapped hard by Google Panda.
Google is updating its algorithm after every few days and new updates are coming frequently, try to stay in touch with that updates on popular SEO blogs and also on forums. And then analyze your website to remove that such tricks that caused your website to drop.

This is due to some duplicate or copy edited content on your website before writing any content do research well and write fresh and unique content, you have to check weather your website content is not copied by any other website as well this will also affect your website, so regular check your website and updating new content will really help your website.

It didn't affect the "bigger" sites that I have but it brought one of my PR2 sites to PR1. It's a low quality site so I don't blame Google at all. :D I think the update happened at the right time.

That's exactly it. It's another reason for us to work on our SEO over a longer period of time and natural, written for people, not search engines.

Now Google is considering offering a tool that allows web masters to disavow certain links, but that may be months away if it happens. We will have to wait for that.
