Does anybody speak swedish here? Or maybe know swedish? I have heard it is VERY difficult for you english spoken people to learn or am I wrong?

DIER represent in Swede? I believe it stands for "animal" is that correct? and also, is DIER common sirname/last name in sweeden?

English for us not hard to learn but you hear that we come from the north when we speak LOL....We see english movies, news ans stuff on the tv, radio and over the interday all day long so we have easy to learn it...

Dier? Hmm does it not spell dear? Like Bambi? Here we call it Rådjur, dont ask my why but djur = animal, rå = raw strange name for a cute Bambi...


hehe no no,,, dier is NOT common LOL... but the most common name I think now days is Anders, Stefan, Per, Björn or lastnames like mine, Ericsson, Anderson, Ek, Enbuske etc etc.... hehe

I couldnt even learn German at school (partly because I didnt want to) but British people are well known for being poor at languages in Europe - mostly because we expect people to speak to us in English, even when abroad.

That´s toaly right but people in Europe is bad at english, sweden and norway is the best I think. If I go to Finland they cant speak englisj, same in Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Netherlands but specially France...

It means 'animal' in Dutch, Wanda... Which is something very different from Swedish.

That is a question I have wondered about to... well. I can understand Danish, Norweigean, Icelandia (Iceland) BUT NOT finish... that is completly diffrent... Some of the diffrent laungauges above, some of the words is difficult but if they speak slow I understand most of it, BUT they understand swedish very good... we speak very clear so maybe thats why...
