I'm taking the advice to "consolidate and save space"... hope it doesn't hurt views from you pros out there.
I'm not a domainer, nor do I plan to become one. I was a web designer and host, beginning back in the early 1990's, and tapering off by around 2008, as my wife's health issues required me to be less "plugged in" and more in tune with the ordinary pulse of the real world. Now I primarily deal in antiques and help older folks plan and implement downsizing their lives, which I honestly find much more rewarding personally.
That all being said, after having once owned over 100 domains, I have held onto a precious few, stubbornly, because I either knew they would appreciate or because former clients had screwed me and I needed them to pay back the bad debt some day. Now it is time to clear the decks and take care of some enormous medical bills, and hopefully put a little into savings for the next ridiculous emergency.
So here they are, let the opinions fly:
Lancaster.net Registered 02/06/1996, originally developed as a community portal for the Lancaster, PA region, with great press and traffic. Changed over to a non-profit fundraising ISP venture around 2001, and retired to a big nap a few years back. Easily referenced via the wayback machine.
Shaman.org, Registered 04/09/1997 for a friend who decided he didn't want it. Knew it was a good name and just held onto it.
Taoweb.com, Registered 12/05/1995, the original domain of my old business, "Tao Web Design", and also a minor "spiritual journey" site, still up and running but unchanged in well over 15 years.
40fingers.com and also DaMusic.Biz, both "client screwed me" names, but both seem to be pretty good anyway.
I value and appreciate your appraisal opinions, and will be offering all these names for sale following your feedback. I have also run them all through the free automated valuation services, but all besides Lancaster.net went all-the-hell over the map.
Thanks again,
Steve
