LAN Center - Funding Needed

I've got a wonderful and very thorough business plan put together. I have a plan to open a lan center here in the United States (Indiana to be more specific) but I am having trouble finding funding. I don't want to take out a loan. My dream would be to have someone come along, look and inspect my plan and fund it, and allow them to have some ownership in the company and split the profits.

I don't really know where to find funding. And I've seen sites where you can pay to advertise your business plan and investors look through it, but they charge a pretty penny, which is something I do not have at the moment.

I feel very good about my business plan. I already have worked out what the total startup cost figure will most likely be, as well as all kinds of financial details. I just need someone to believe in me and give me the green light. But I do not know where to find these people.

It may help if you post roughly what you are expecting the person to invest in your future company and also how you plan to pay that person back.

If you feel your future company will take off, you maybe better off taking a loan out, it would be easier - and possibly cheaper in the long run.

I agree with Fewski, taking a loan wouldn't be a bad thing if you really feel the business will do well.
