Are you sitting on the next "milliondollarhomepage" idea?

I am looking to make investments in such ventures. I have capital in the range of low to mid $xxxx to fund some of these GREAT ideas. Maybe all you lack is funding?

Anyway, few details and "rules."

1. Contact only through my contact form on my site below. This enables both of us to track EVERY exchange of information.

2. Absolutely NO, porn, MLM, hate ideas, get rich schemes, copycat schemes or anything that would be offensive to the general public. Think honestly about what you would invest in and you'll probably be on track.

3. You must provide details. Do NOT send me "I want to start a hosting company". This is not acceptable and how could anyone determine if this is a sound business venture. Weight will be given to proper grammar and spelling and if a business plan has been written, so much the better. Think about what you are wanting to do and if it has been done a 1,000 times...probably not for me. Any suggestions of business must be completely internet driven. If you have some quick samples/references, include them. If you wish to only sell your idea, then say so up front.

4. If you are under 21, say so in your first contact. Any dealings will be done in a legal fashion and anyone under legal age in the U.S. will need appropriate parental permissions. This however is not limited to people in the U.S.

5. I assure confidentiality and I expect the same from you. If you wish to use a confidentiality agreeement, then please advise BEFORE sending your ideas.

6. This is not a loan and should not be considered as such. Don't email requesting money to start your site. I will not respond to these types of things. This is a LEGIT effort on my part. I do look after my money pretty carefully and all agreements will be handled as partnerships with appropriate control and profit splits. I am a 100% honest, legal businessman. I have several successful internet enterprises, as well as off-internet and always looking for new/different sources of revenue.

7. I make no guarantees for funding any project or idea. Some will be excellent, some will be so-so, some will be downright stupid, especially by anyone who doesn't want to be serious.

What if I have an idea that builds upon the MDHP idea? Would you consider it to be a copycat scheme? I am asking so I do not waste your time or mine with a PM.

As long as truely building upon an idea and in proper taste etc, then don't see an initial problem. We already seen the true copycats here and I'm sure we'll see more

I have a question, if someone has an idea, why should they go to you? What can you offer besides money? There are thousands of investors who can pump tens of thousands into a good idea, and can also offer sound marketing and financial advice.

I have a proposition that I'm afraid to tell, like Colin Behr posted, please list your qualifications other than just funding. Pro marketing experence? past successful partnerships? in the position to dedicate alot of time and work into something big?

Good questions! and valid concerns.

Most of the people who would want to deal with me, have no real clue where to start with an idea of development or have no means to the "huge investors" you make reference to. For most people, access to any funding at all is zero. In order to even qualify for the things you mention, an individual has to have an extremely well qualified development plan as well as excellent stability and track record. Not to mention the age factor. Many budding entrepreneurs are below age levels that anyone will even talk to, let alone get involved with.

Something else to think about...just how often do you see ANY posting of this nature?? They are rare and if you will note in the post, I am not offering loans. I am offering total project involvement including funding in exchange for future potential profits. I say potential, because that is all it is. My integrity and commitment is absolute, as anyone having dealt with me can tell you.

In my post I ensure confidentiality and absolutely expect the same thing from anyone I deal with. I provide means of confidentiality agreements if so desired. Not much more I can do there, as is a standard thing. Based on that, there is no way I will post any past dealings or associations on an open forum, nor will I try to defend any qualifications in the same venue. If and when this is appropriate, it will be done in private, as it should be. Maybe you would like someone to do that with your associations?

I have had several contacts and each one has been dealt with in an above board manner, even though most can't even follow the simple contact requirements as posted above. Most have not been appropriate for me to be involved with and so have been rejected or declined to work on. It doesn't take much to make an initial evaluation to see if appropriate for me to be involved with. That doesn't mean it might not be a good idea, just maybe not right for my involvement.

I see what you are saying, however, how much past experience do you have?

The kind of people who you are trying to attract (from what I can see from your last post) will need help with Marketing, Accounting and Advertising. The idea is just a tiny part, can you offer advice and help in those areas?

Yes, I can offer expertise in many areas. In those where my expertise is lacking, I have wide variety of sources and resources to draw on. No individual is an expert at everything

If you are serious about this you should consider joining your local Angel Investor group or similar organization. This protects both parties.
