Sad day in sports today!!
OMG. Thats really sad. RIP GOAT
The worst part might not be reported yet. One station said his 4 kids were on board...
I am shocked. He was one of the greatest fighters I know Rest In Peace, legend!
I saw it tending and just assumed it was one of those fake death reports that go viral from time to time.
Unfortunately, it was true.
RIP Kobe, and the others on board.
Yup. posted global chat too. Most players today, grew up watching, idolizing him.
Gone way too soon. RIP Kobe Bryant.
Class to the end.
His last tweet was congratulating LeBron for passing him, points scored.

Daughter confirmed dead also
Grew up a Lakers fan here in LA. Had season tickets to the Lakers, during Kobe's reign, for years. Kobe is bigger than life in LA. This news is beyond shocking. Simply indescribable.
Such a tragic loss for all of those on board the helicopter.
Not to be insensitive but why do we care about this death vs the other 150,000 people that died today? Is it because he’s famous that we react irrationally?
Who is acting "irrationally?"
same reason when someone you care for passes. Kobe has meaning in our lives.
Everyone posting on social media because someone famous died.
People put more energy into this type of news than they do when a friend dies.
I’ll admit that anyone dying is sad but to cry out for one individual when thousands of others also died today is a weird social issue.
I wouldn’t immediately take to social media if a friend or family member died. It’s personal and not necessary to shout to the world.
prepare to be flooded with conspiracy theories on youtube
Everyone grieves differently. Some cry, some hug, everyone does it differently. You should respect people grieving. By not showing respect to others grieving, you do seem insensitive.
How many you know, fully tear achilles tendon, GET UP, WALK own and make 2 free throws.
he actually stayed in the game and played with torn achilles, was never the same after that day and yet, played through a torn achilles, actually able to walk ON HIS OWN— STAYED playing through it, trying withstand pain, before leaving
to this day remain the toughest thing witnessed — money “celebrity” doesnt change a thing.
This is my point exactly. People grieve because they watched basketball but could care less that 150,000 other people died today.
Something very wrong with society.
Separate names with a comma.
