The domain is K repeated 13 times. I've checked that all same letter patterns have been taken in all alphabets to at least 13 letters. I also think that most of the repeating 'K' domains all the way upto 60 K's are registered in .com.
Just wanted to know if it has any value.
Thanks.

The things that you have to ask yourself is who would you sell it to? What could it be used for? What would make this more valuable then another 13x repeating domain? What kind of website could be put on it?

It's going to be real hard to sell, especially at any kind of premium.

This is more than likely a registration fee value at best.

Good Luck though. :)

Thanks for your opinion. I thought it might have value due to its rarity and due to the fact that people have registered upto 60x. In any case, I only spent $1, so I'll hold on to it for a year...

You are most welcome.

Since it was only a dollar you won't be out much if it doesn't sell. You might as well list it for sale anyway at a decent price since you already have it. You never know who might come across it and if it's cheap enough then they might buy it. It's not going to be an easy sell but it can't hurt to list it for sale at some places. Just don't pay/get any upgrades for the listing since it might not sell.

Good Luck with it.

you will know its value as soon as the similar repeated 13 letters 13l-13p.etc are in the market..
and about what kind of site would use it??
actually the good question to ask is what kind of sites would use hjfg.com or thbz.com or 454687.com or 33000.com and this one sold for10k..it looks like crazy market but it works like that..and 13k its a rare pattern i think.

If you want to try your luck with / invest in special domains why not registering directly the maximum amount of characters, 63 instead of only 13?
63 DOMAINS are also have their pattern, 'just in another level'.
To be honest - I think this would have more effect / future than a 'boring' amount of just 13 ;)

Well I was thinking that 13 K's could technically be typed out, but 63 on the other hand... I don't know.

Even if you have only 13, it is still going to get miscounted when typing it in by some people, probably many people.

I know that it would be 10 times easier to type if it were under 10 characters or so... but it is what it is. Even then, it really isn't too hard if you count along, and its much less time/effort consuming than 63, which is what I was comparing to.

Yes, 63 repeating letters is just crazy. In fact 63 characters is crazy for any domain. There is very likely that something will get typed spelled wrong, counted wrong, etc. Ask any successful veteran domainer and see if they ever have owned any domains that long.

Anyway, yeah it wouldn't be that hard to type for a lot of people but there are a big number of people that will. Some people don't pay enough attention to what they type, how many characters they type and so on.

A lot of people are going to wonder why it has that many repeating characters.

Another thing to consider if you sell it is that the price must be reasonable. Otherwise why should they buy yours with 13 when they can buy the ones with 7, 8, 9 and others with the same letters?

I wish you luck with this one, but it's not going to be easy.

Good Luck :)

Exactly, that's it - I fully agree with you.
Your mentioned reasons are one of the 'secrets' behind 63 DOMAINS - they simply have this special charme to attract in an uncommon, new way.

BTW Let me say, your postings are always professional, just smart and without big emotions - thank you, you are what a namePro is in my eyes.
Good luck with all of your domains ;)

Yeah, they can be a discussion point as well. I actually almost registered a really long one, just because I would have it in my portfolio to make people think. The one I was thinking about registering was 57+ the .com extension. I like to be different sometimes. ;)

Here's what I was going to reg, just don't laugh too hard! ;)

Thank you I appreciate that comment, especially coming from someone that has gained my respect around here. I always try to be professional and not let personal thoughts or things cloud my thinking and judgement. If only I could practice that when I am registering all my names! ;) Sometimes I don't think logically when I am registering them and let feelings cloud my professional thoughts.

Good Luck with your domains as well.

Take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your weekend. :)

I cant think of any reason why to register it.

If you email any of the other KxN domain owners that you think have inferior
(longer, and probably the shorter ones too) and ask them if they want to buy your domain. You will get a "no but I'll sell you mine". Or "I own this domain only because my name is Karen, not looking to pay more than regfee" Type of answers.

Which leaves you with no real way to actively get out of the domain.

Good Luck
