K is not considered a premium letter, even though Amki is a triple premium pronounceable with 3 very good letters.

It's not easy to evaluate it, but you can get $xxx for it on a good day.

K is a good semi-premium letter, better than most non-premium letters. Placement has a lot to do with it's value too, such as in the KILR (.) com that I was just outbid on

As Bruno and Daniel said, "K" is considered a semi-premium letter. While quad premium pronounceables do on average sell for more, there is far more overlap with pronounceable LLLL.coms than you will find with ordinary LLLL.coms. The biggest determinants of value when it comes to a pronounceables are:

a) meaning (eg. meaningful dictionary word or acronym in English or another country, often accompanied by traffic/revenue)
b) pronounceability

Depending on who's buying, pronounceability may be valued significantly higher than anything else.

Yeah, that is a good one. I went upto $178 and then stopped. I suppose you were the bidder no. 3.

Depends upon the combination. If it is oKey.com then, definitely OK. Lol. :)

No letter is good or bad. Just premium, semi-premium, or non-premium. I think "K" falls in the middle. But if it is the beginning of a combination it gains higher value.

I think it's the position of letter than just a sole letter, which counts.

In your domain, you got K at perfect position, which makes your domain pronounceable.
That is what a big concern. :imho:

word can be a secondary level premium but the placement of this word can make it valuable in some reasonable premium letters. as some time K is equal to nothing
but just consider if k may be used in a domain with king.com then what is the value of k ? ;)

your domain is likely good at this point

:talk:

all letters are premium.

there is no such thing as a bad letter

it's a bunch of nonsense created by domainers for the explicit purpose of buying your name cheaper than it could really be sold for.

all of the bad letters have been already omitted from the current 26 letters in existence. :)

I'm starting to think that myself :)

I've had a couple Chinese domainers ask me lately "What LLLL.coms do you have without A/E/I/O/U/V" -- us English domainers would wonder why someone would rather have a Q/X/Z than a nice letter like A/E/I and they probably wonder why someone would rather have a letter like A/E/I over a nice letter like Q/X/Z
