I just sold two names:

cityofsaltlake.com :sold:
cityofsaltlakecity.com :sold:

I got $350 for both, undeveloped. Plus, both were actually in the expiration period, and I didn't have to pay to reregister them for the transfer. The buyer also payed all escrow fees for the transfer ($25).

What do people think of this, does it seem like a good price? To me they weren't worth a whole lot, I probably wouldn't have found the time to develop them anyway - so I'm pretty excited about it. The money's already been spent, my wife has been asking me to go biking with her for a long time now, so I took us out and bought brand new bicycles. =)

Thanks!

Hehe, thanks everyone.
I had let the domain expire, but wasn't going to let it drop. I sometimes just wait it out a bit because money gets tight sometimes, and I wanted to definitely hold onto them, I thought they were pretty good, but the $350 was great for me.

As for who bought it, I just received an email from a small design firm on my whois contact email; I assume he has plans for the names, so I hope they can do well with them (but not TOO well, that would be a kick in the pants) ;)

Another question I have for you all, is if I'm getting hits on names based on my own names as referrers (i.e. - I have a site set up, but I have other domains pointed to it, but when I view the stats for the site, it says that some of the referrers are the other names that point to it), does that show that there might be an interested party? I am thinking of putting up a page for interested parties, I have about 20 domains I would like to sell if possible, is it worth putting up a page where people can send me a message if interested in buying?

Thanks!

You never know what sells and when....so it is all really the luck of the draw..
