Just saw a sales post which stated..
"It wouldn't be that easy to sell Pool tables ,or Hot Tubs Online"
As the owner of the name HotTub (a one-time $500 a year premium - now standard fee) I think this may be wrong. One click on google shows just how 'hot' (no pun intended) that market has become - but that is actually immaterial. What does matter is this...
I really think that there is a massive difference between
1 a words only ad for a hot tub
2 a salesperson who has a little knowledge of hot tubs extolling their virtues
3 a slick, well-informed, educative individual or enthusiastic individuals explaining all the benefits of a hot tub in a televisual medium on an internet tv channel called HotTubs dot TV.
Internet TV has a wonderful ability to truly explain a topic and make it entertaining and informative. I can't stand whisky, but learned more about that topic, and found it very interesting, in a few minutes of watching SingleMalt.TV (or at least the trailer) - and so it should be with everything 'saleable'.
If anyone would care to look at the trailer on SingleMalt.tv http://www.singlemalt.tv/ - would they then agree that most things can be better sold via the medium of internet TV - and by default, using the .TV or TV.com extension?
I would welcome people views as the sales element of .Tv seems to be coming more to the fore these days.
