.mobi Just Registered 4 .Mobi's

Whaaaat? you might say. Well I know.. But I have such a strong believe in the future of .Mobi that I regged these 4 not on the basis of their Google Search Results(because they hardly show any results which is understandable as mobile is still in it's infancy)) but on their potential for the .Mobi extension assuming that .Mobi takes off BIG. In that case I believe these 4 sites have everything in house to become very successful and popular when developed. Let me know what you think. Good decision or do you recommend I cancel within the 5 day period and get my $$ back.

Music4Mobile.mobi
Poker4Mobile.mobi
Casino4Mobile.mobi

I'm pro .mobi, but not enthusiastic about those. Here's why: 1) they are pretty long; 2) I'm not a fan of longer mixed character domains; and 3) the phrases just aren't all that natural.

Music4mobile is the most appropriate. I might keep that one.
poker and casino are maybes.
Despite being the shortest, I think Fun4mobile is the weakest.

Whenever I'm in doubt about these types of names, I do a google search and see what type and how many adsense ads appear. That might be a helpful test here too.

However--->I will note that I have had no experience selling longer mixed character domain under any tld. My mixed letter/number sales have all been three character sales. Perhaps someone who has (had) an inventory of these types of names could offer a more insightful opinion.

I honestly dont think long names are bad, as long as they make sense.
Music4mobile.mobi seems to be the best, but I am not a huge fan of any names here. If developed there could be potential but otherwise I would dump them back :imho: Good luck!

If someone wants music on his mobile, then he just wants music, not music for mobile or for pc.

He would just search music, or type in music, not music for mobile.
It's indeed the music for mobile, but the user doesn't care.
He may think the music should be for mobile since he is using a mobile.

So I don't think they have much value.

OK I get your point but that would mean that only MUSIC.mobi has value and other stuff like MUSICSITE or MUSICCLUB or MUSICONLINE would have no value either. So only keywords have value. Or am I wrong here?

I may be missing a trick here but,

funfor.mobi
pokerfor.mobi
casinofor.mobi

are available, musicfor.mobi has been grabbed.

IMO they are shorter and more relevant, easier to market.

Not that they are particularly good. I would drop the ones you have regged. Sorry.

What a coincidence i was going to say this exact thing..the names which are avable sound much better

"Fun For Dot Mobi" vs "Fun 4 Mobile Dot Mobi"

You dont need much to figure that one out

OK yes I agree... I think we all have these moments of madness..when clarity escapes us and one's judgement becomes clouded. I think I'll go and cancel them and ask for a refund.

REFUND is taken . Have decided to keep the one name that most people thought was the worst of the 4 namely Fun4Mobile.mobi I think that one has some merit and has the best google results of the lot. Also it has a few sites under that name which are live. Might even develop it myself. Regged FUNFORMOBILE.mobi as well as an afterthought.
The other 3 I have cancelled for a refund.
