Just got to thinking about $500,000 Blue.com again

It's been 8 months since it sold for $500,000 and it's still a Sedo parked page. Here's the old main thread on it...

I would have posted in the old thread but it's locked. At the time I thought for sure American Express bought it. It seems like a crazy waste to let it sit parked like that. What do you think is going on with it?

Good question..I could find someway to make good use out of that domain...Maybe it didnt work out as well for the people who bought it as they thought it would. There could be a million reasons behind it. who knows

bought as a long term investment probably and not expecting a quick flip - It absolutely amazes me that someone who just paid $500,000 for a domain would'nt pay maybe a $100 or so extra and register it for 5 to 10 years.
