And i heard that Mozilla had a deal with Toho to keep the name ( i am not sure about this )

However, why don't you people google 2 minutes before you buy / register names ?

HMMM...Tech-zilla wathever-zilla you can't TM just part of a word and claim your rights to it.
They can try to sue that dude Dave and his site Davezilla but it won't get them far. I guess the other thing he has in common with godzilla is the dragon logo.Still from daveZILLA to godZILLA it's quite a difference and won't fly.

this is not true.
there are cases where a part of a domain name was TMd and the owners of those domains got in to trouble.

of course we can always find websites or find sales from those who get away with such names.
in fact, most of them do.
and i see sales with TMd names on ebay all the time and maybe all of those get away with it.

but what if YOU are the unlucky guy who gets into trouble?
