Hi All,

Just got what I would call a "NASTY" review for what I believe came out of frustrating or whatever it is.

I have not gotten a single bad REVIEW on here or anywhere else for that matter.

We never made a trade, he offered a list of his domains and mentioned, "Up to you to make a reasonable offer. For some of them price should be closer to what you paid for Match.net."

Now here is the listed he promoted and the comment I replied with, got to admit could of been a bit nicer but my REPLY back was not meant as an insult.

Wished the person the best, no bad intend here.

Would love to hear your opinion on this, aren't reviews also for actual trades being made rather then feeling "insulted".

If no deal was done make mods aware and ask for it to be removed....it is for "trade reviews" not personal opinions...

Report to the mods. They'll remove it. I've once had a user continuesly posting F*U* on my trade reviews. He was butthurt as I reported him when he didn't honour a deal.

Eventually they closed down his account.

Rather than saying that you didn't see any valuable names on the list
you might have replied that those were not the type of domains that
you were looking for. He probably thought that you were saying his
domain names had no value and felt that was an insult. Not that
any of this is your fault.

I’m glad you exposed them.

i actually think if you didnt publicly expose,
They get; “warning” and still remove review.

Who gives a review doesnt have relevancy;

They were describing your “character”

The trade reviews were not designed for that.

The rule is a little ambiguous, but ultimately no transaction was “attempted” by the person the review was for. The seller may have been “attempting” to have a transaction but there was no agreement made between the two. I feel that the review should be removed.

To clarify, perhaps the rule should say something to the effect of: Trade Reviews should only be used when a bona-fide agreement existed between the members involved, and only then to reflect the outcome of the attempted or completed transaction.

Review has been removed, there was no attempt of anything in this case. Posted a topic that I am interested in purchasing .NET domains this user offered his list and I replied and that's all there is to it.

Anyway glad this got resolved, thanks for the support and the staff on Namepros for taking the right action.

This entire topic probably seems a bit over the top but a nasty review like that on top of your profile just did not sit well with me, especially after some mid 5 figure deals on here, and a good amount of 4 figure deals as well.

Always paid, always been straight forward and honest.

Reviews killed a project for me before even sold anything. Had someone that never spent money making up crap so just abandoned idea over it.
