Just Bought The iPod Touch, and Look!

Just bought the iPod Touch.
Bought it primarily for the browser, and the fact that it has a 16GB model which the iPhone doesn't have.

I popped open the browser, typed in a url, and at the bottom of the 'keyboard' there was a ".com" button.

Now how many people will use that button? I guess almost everybody.

So does that mean all other extensions are redundant for iPod Touch users? And hey, what about .mobi This is mobile internet, if I'm not mistaken.

How do you like the browsing? I was thinking of maybe upgrading from my normal iPod... but I would need more space.

the browsing is quite good actually, if you can get a decent wifi connection. I get a lot of work done sitting at Starbucks or any other place with wifi. Its definitely much much better than the tiny mobile websites we have on other phones (this is not a phone, obviously). You get the full experience, and the video sites look really great.

Definitely worth it.

can you go to other sites like .net at all?

You could use namepros.mobi if you got to type the ext :p
