I just wanted to share with y'all the results of my .mobi site, JOX.mobi. I have been quite happy with what I've seen, and hope to encourage you all to develop your .mobi's! :tu: This site only took me a few hours to throw together (and believe me, I'm no expert at coding), and it has been well worth the time :imho:.

I haven't done any advertising whatsoever, so I'm pleased that the site is already generating some traffic and revenue, and - more importantly - real mobile users! :kickass:

Oh, and the most trafficked page by far is the Dirty Jokes page (gets 5x the hits of any other page). Just goes to show that there is a huge market for that area.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that the revenue spike continues -- my goal is to reach $1.00/day on average. But I'm certainly not complaining about $0.25-$0.50 a day! :music:

The last four days have seen revenue ranging from $0.46 - $1.18. I'm really excited about the site's future! :tu:

That is really cool--great job! Yours is the type of site that when people get on it, they might click through 10, 20, 30 pages. Also a perfect mobile application. I'm quite impressed!!

Thanks for the comments! This is my favorite .mobi domain I have at the moment, from a developer's standpoint, because of exactly that -- the name fits the extension perfectly. I'm honestly excited about it and hopefully one of these days it will be getting some serious traffic in order to give .mobi some extra exposure. :tu:

Thanks! I don't expect the site to make me rich :hehe but nonetheless I'm glad to see that a simple .mobi site like this can earn me $4.00 through AdMob in just 1/3 of the month. At this rate I could be seeing $12/month even without promotion. Not bad at all!

I don't know if this example has inspired any of you to develop your .mobi's, but I have renewed my own .mobi excitement! I'm starting development now of another site and can't wait to see how it turns out!
