Joomla Tips and general web design help...???

Hi Everyone.

got a few questions if any of u wouldnt mind answering....???
Using Joomla,

How do I set up email notifications for all users? for :
replies to threads posted,
New PM's? (but on that note, how do I set up the capability of users being able to PM)
Also at current, I have it so that you can only see the menu for the website if you are a regestered member.... how do i make the menu's visible on the front page so that anyone can see it?

I have emailed the guy I met off NP who set up the site but he has not gotten back to me in about 2 months and wouldnt mind it done!

Sounds like you have quite a bit to learn. Plugins will do most of the work for you, you can find them at extensions.joomla.org. As for customizing front page layout etc, you'll need to learn the program. It's as easy as a button here or there but takes time to find it.

If you really need help I am available but since I am in the US I charge a high rate per hour. I am sure you can find cheaper joomla devs on these forums.
