Calling all JOOMLA users - Simple request???

Hey guys, just have a real simple question, im new too all this JOOMLA stuff, but does anybody know how to change the "new user" default priveledges to save all new users who sign up to editors instead of just being regestered???

Assuming you are using Joomla! 1.5.8

In Admin Area
1/ goto "Global configuration"
2/ select "System Tab"
3/ "user settings " has the section pulldown to select default User registration Type
