Hey all,

I want to know why there has not yet been a domain extension which contains a numeric character!

It would be cool to see one, like .4u

EG: http://www.games.4u

Im not suggesting that there should be one, as I do not like the idea of new domain extensions... I am just wundering why there has not yet been a numberic/alphanumeric domain extension.

People are always wanting quick ways to express things and it seems that there is a trend of the use of numbers to mean different words.

EG: 4=for and 2=to/two

I think the unified root system does allow any characters.
But yes, it is interesting the traditional ext does not include numbers
