The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Do they get a 60-day exclusive on all domains that are submitted, or only on the ones that they accept?

(In other words, if they reject a domain for this auction, am I immediately free to sell it elsewhere?)

From my understanding, it's just like Moniker. If it makes it to auction, then the 60 day exclusive is in place. If they do not make the cut, you can sell if you wish.

Best of luck to all, tomorrow is judgement day! I hope you all wake up to some nice gifts under the Domain Tools Christmas Tree! :)

You can submit over 20 i think if you submitted before they had the limitation rule. I submitted 98. Last month the max was 100.

I got the same message yesterday. They tell you to add a credit card, then give you a link that takes you to the credit card already on file. I sent them a customer service request yesterday, but they never replied.

i had this same issue today and customer service responded this afternoon saying, "We will extend the deadline to fix the bug. It should be fixed Wednesday morning. But we will lock the process close of business on Wednesday. Be sure to check back on Wednesday afternoon."

In other words, try again on Wednesday to sign your form.

Deadline will be extended to Thursday the 27th.

Deadline to submit domains for the Jan 3rd Domain Auction will be extended to Thursday the 27th. There are too many people trying to get into the auction and we need more time to review submissions and fix a few software issues. We have over 200 people that have submitted domains to the auction so far. A lot of great stuff to pick through and I donโ€™t want to miss anything. Our auction system is also being used by the last minute NO Reserve auction for ARES right now and we are not able to populate it while we are conduction another auction. The best decision is to keep the submission process open for two more days and allow the ARES auction to close on Wednesday and then announce the domains the next day.

Posted today on DomainTools Blog.

I am NOT submitting names at this auction because:

- Jan 3: the date is too early, many buyers will still be on holiday , till mid January is quite a mistake to sell anything in my opinion

- Snapnames end of January auction: I have submitted my names for Snap auction and I think it will offer bigger chances to sell

- this auction is new and like everything new, there may be problems.

Oh well.

The auction system seems all masses up....they have my credit card on file and yet it asks me for it again and again....I try to verify my email but never get the verification link they suppose to send me...

Oh well, I probably should just forget about this auction and submit to the well established auction at Moniker and DS/Snapnames Domainfest....

You are not the only one who have this problem.

Someone post about it in the Blog and Jay replied :

Yep, most of the staff is off during the weekend and support tickets are not answered on Holidays either. I will make sure the submission credit card + contract signing issue is bug free Wednesday morning.

I hope this help :)

If they're still getting submissions on Wednesday and they have 200+ sellers at 20 domains each. That's approx 4000 names for selection. I don't know their selection process, but for me this could be done in a day. So. Maybe we can expect news of domains selected by 29th.

:hi:

Yes it should not take long.

I believe they use an automated tool to rate the domains.

Highly unlikely it's all done manually.

Another failure by one of the supposedly market leaders to get things right.

I took same route as Italian Dragon and decided not to submit as I feel the timing is wrong.

Happy holidays.

OK. The Services Agreement signature works now. It initiates a $1 order to your credit card. The worrying thing is that the Order Confirmation states that this might take up to 1 day to complete :(

I'm sure they will see when you did the transaction, so you should be good to go. I think mine went threw pretty quick, even though it says 1 day.

I just got the receipt from DT for the $1. So I should be good to go now with my application :)
